Course Planning By Will

One of the most exciting things about the end of February is course planning for the upcoming year. Looking through the catalogue, you are overwhelmed with awesome classes to take. The only problem is you cannot take them all! Picking and choosing from all of the interesting classes is the hardest part about the whole process. Whether you like economics or art, Milton has hundreds of intriguing and challenging courses to choose from. Just for senior year, I had eight English options to choose from! Whatever you may be interested in, Milton offers you the opportunity take classes that you love, not just required classes. One of my favorite classes I have taken this year is my Global Economics class with Mr. Lou. Mr. Lou likes to give us fun projects. My favorite so far was one where you and your group chose an underdeveloped country and created new policies to improve this country’s economy. Although it was challenging, this demonstrates how creative and innovative Milton courses are. You will not find one course at Milton that is basic and boring; each and every one has its own flare and excitement built into it. Classes are not built around textbooks and tests, but rather around exciting and creative ways to learn knew and important things. I encourage everyone to look through the course catalogue to see first hand the awesome and exciting courses that are offered here at Milton.
