Traditionally, Milton Academy’s spring sports teams travel south to enjoy the warm weather and sunny skies of Florida during their spring break trips. During each team’s week-long getaways, teammates and coaches work hard on the practice fields and compete in riveting games against other schools in preparation for their seasons. In addition, they enjoy the beaches, restaurants, and other tourist attractions that Florida has to offer! This 2015 spring break trip, the teams venture to several different Sunshine State cities. Girls’ softball and boys’ baseball will travel to Orlando and partake in several scrimmages and practices. One day, the two teams will head to Disney World together! The girls’ and boys’ lacrosse teams will make their ways to Clearwater Beach to kick their seasons off. They will partake in morning practices and under-the-lights night games. Of course, their trips will be filled with beach relaxation and nights out on the town! Heading more south, the Milton sailing team will visit Miami and cruise the warm waters. The team will race two other schools during vacation. The tennis teams will stay in Miami too. They will practice each day, attend a professional match, and enjoy team runs along South Beach.
Each trip will be action-packed and prep all teams for their spring seasons. Undoubtedly, the trips will provide tons of team-building opportunities and laughs. The rest of Milton Academy eagerly awaits their seasons, beginning in the first weeks of April!

We work closely with the admission office to make sure you get a good sense of what it’s like to be a student at Milton.
