SAA Starts the Year off Strong

The Student Activities Association (SAA) is a large presence here on the Milton campus. This group of students along with faculty member, Ms. Reiser, plans the weekend events that take place on campus. And this year, they’re off to a great start. From the mentalist, to the back-to-school dance, the SAA activities drew large crowds and facilitated student-to-student interaction. In addition to the traditional, creative and entertaining announcements at morning assemblies, the group has implemented a texting service where students can be notified via text of the events taking place on campus each night. By providing another platform where students can stay up to date, SAA has taken strides to ensure that no student is left unaware or without something to do. Over Columbus Day weekend coming, this hand picked group of students made it clear that they aim to please. Liveband karaoke, laser tag, a showing of Pitch Perfect 2 (accompanied by calzones), and a trip to the movies were on the calendar. SAA has great momentum behind them that will surely propel them throughout the rest of the year.
