August 2015

Don’t miss out on the excitement. You can connect with goings on across campus—formal and informal. See what students and faculty are doing in several easy ways:

Check the website every day. Milton’s homepage delivers up to date news in many forms. Timely feature articles highlight students’, faculty and alumni activities. Video and slide shows let you in on fun, ceremony, performance and exhibits. And everyone’s favorite, Photo of the Day, presents a serendipitous moment that, over time, conveys Milton culture.

Set up Milton’s calendar to serve you. Milton’s website calendar includes every major and minor event, on and off campus, that involves Milton students, faculty or staff. When you explore the calendar, you’ll see that it will synch with your own calendar, and it will email you about any upcoming events with timing that you choose. You can set it to synch or email a single event, or a category of events—like boys’ soccer, arts events, or weekend activities. You’ll see “Add to my calendar” and “Remind me by email” on the top bar of the calendar listings. Simply decide what works best for you and choose the option you’d like.

Open the Weekend Activities email from Dean José Ruiz. Dean Ruiz and activities director Kelly Reiser combine forces to send parents an email roughly once each month that details student weekend event plans. Rely on this summary to see what options students have for fun in their free time.
