Annual Fund Success

Together, Milton parents raised over $1.97 million—$240,000 more than the previous year—for the 2013–2014 Annual Fund. Over 670 families contributed to this outstanding total.

Annual Fund gifts help support every area of the school. Providing approximately seven percent of Milton’s annual budget, these gifts help fill the gap between tuition and the true cost of a Milton education. Because of parent support, Milton is able to recruit and retain talented faculty, keep a low student-to-teacher ratio, enrich its diverse community, and maintain outstanding academic, art, and athletic programs that benefit all of our students.

Special thanks to Stuart I. Mathews P’13 ’17, Trustee for Parent Giving; to Annual Fund Co-Chairs Jeanne Blasberg P’14, Nancy Rosselot P’15, Suzanne Pasko P’14 ’19, Brad Stewart P’15 ’18, William A. Knowlton P’23, Molly Ladd ’92 P’22 ’25; and to the many volunteers who dedicated their time and talents to ensuring Milton had the necessary resources for success in 2013–2014. Thank you.

Become a Parent Giving Volunteer

As September approaches and you think about the exciting opportunities that a new school year brings, consider becoming a parent giving volunteer. We are looking for parents to connect with other members of the Milton community and directly affect the quality of their children’s educational experience. Parent volunteers are crucial to the success of the Annual Fund at Milton.

• Make phone calls or send emails to fellow Milton parents from home.
• Attend the fall parent giving phonathons.
• Enjoy the friendship and support of other parent volunteers.

You can be a volunteer from anywhere. If you’d like to be involved, tell us. We will work with you to find a role that fits.
