Auxiliary Lifts

Auxiliary lifts are supplementary to core lifts because they target minor muscle groups or individual muscles for an intense workout not covered by core lifts.

Upper Extremity

  • Lateral raises
  • Standing shoulder press
  • Biceps curls
  • Skull crushers
  • Lat pull down
  • Shoulder shrugs
  • Scapular training
  • Dumbbell fly’s
  • Good morning’s
  • Dumbbell rows
  • Zottman curls
  • Inverted Rows

  • Deltoid Raises
  • Incline DB press
  • Flat bench DB press

Lower Extremity

  • Step up’s (strength and power)
  • Lunges (lateral, 45 degrees, and straight ahead)
  • Calf raises
  • Glut hamstring raise
  • Straight leg dead lifts
  • Single leg squat off box (leg behind, leg in front)
  • Single leg straight leg dead lift with dumbbell
  • Single leg bridges
