When I initially applied to the school, the first factors that came to my mind were: academics, extracurriculars, fantastic teachers, etc. However, after getting into the school and starting my life at the institution, I realized that Milton was much more than that. I’m happy to have come to the school not only because I’m learning how to think or how to be responsible for a club, but also because I respect the people that inhabit the school. Although you can find good academics and competitive athletics at many institutions across the country, it is much harder to find a community where you can express yourself truthfully and feel welcome daily.   I can say that many of its students express themselves genuinely and show respect toward each other. We all have different opinions and personalities. I rarely agree with all the views of my friends, but everyday I feel I’m exploring new ideas and growing intellectually thanks to those varying opinions.</p>
